About the Consortium Forum:

The Consortium is an association of experienced
psychotherapists who share certain basic values and goals.
The mission of the Consortium is to promote, both in           the professional community and in the public at large,
the value of psychotherapy--for individuals, couples, families and groups. 

The exchange of ideas to promote our profession is our primary goal. This site will be posting op-ed pieces, articles, news items and other writings to achieve this aim.

We believe that we must contribute to re-generating informed professional and public interest in psychotherapy--not only
through the delivery of service of the highest quality, but also
through education and dialog .

In the current  cultural climate we are             the only interest group that represents  psychotherapists and their clients,             without influence or control                             from other sources.
